GRASSROOTS CONFIDENCE RISES: RT. HON. MRS. JANE ENEH URGES CONTINUED SUPPORT FOR GOV MBAH&STRONGER GRASSROOTS MOBILIZATION AS APC INAUGURATED AWGU CARETAKER COMMITTEES.

A renewed wave of political optimism filled Awgu Local Government Council headquarters on 28th November 2025, as All Progressives Congress (APC) formally inaugurated its Local Government Caretaker Committee alongside nine[ 9] member committees across the eleven political wards in Awgu LGA.The event, which drew notable political figures and party stakeholders, was marked by calls for unity, grassroots engagement and strengthened party structures. Addressing the gathering, Rt. Hon. Mrs. Jane Eneh, Deputy Leader Enugu State House of Assembly and representative of Awgu North Constituency commended Governor Peter Ndubuisi Mbah for his transformative achievements across Enugu State. She noted that Governor Peter Mbah’s developmental strides have eased political mobilization and electoral processes, urging the newly inaugurated committees to take APC message deep into the communities. She further appealed to party leadership for greater inclusion of women and loyal party members in budgetary considerations, emphasizing the indispensable role of women as committed voters.

In his remarks, Dr. Barr. Ben Nwoye, Chairman Enugu State APC Caretaker Committee, expressed gratitude for the unity and solidarity demonstrated by Awgu leaders and party faithful, describing it as unmatched compared to other areas he had visited. Reaffirming the party’s commitment to gender sensitivity, he encouraged the committee members to uphold their responsibilities diligently as the Oath of Office and Allegiance was administered by Rt. Hon. Barr. Eugene Odoh [Ebube Ukehe], State Secretary APC Caretaker Committee and former Speaker Enugu State House of Assembly.

Hon. Uchenna Joseph Okolo, Executive Chairman of Awgu LGA, formally welcomed the APC family, setting a tone of cooperation. The inauguration also featured goodwill messages from several distinguished personalities, including Rt. Hon. Ozor SKE Ude Okoye, High Chief Hon. Frank Anioma [Ezesinachi], Amb. Mrs. Fidelia Njeze, Dr. Mrs. Oby Ajah[Jagaban], Dr. Chiedozie Nwafor [CNN] Prof. Benedict Okoli, Hon. Dr. Martin Chukwunweike, Rt. Hon. Nelson Uduji, Hon Anthony Nwankwo [Okwadike] and Hon.
