ENUGU WEST SENATOR, OSITA NGWU, COMMISERATES WITH NWANKWOJIKE FAMILY, DESCRIBES LATE PA. ROMANUS AS A MAN OF PEACE AND INTEGRITY.
On Saturday, October 25th, 2025, the distinguished Senator representing Enugu West Senatorial District and Minority Whip of the Senate, Senator Dr. Osita Ngwu (Abia Ike na-Eti), joined party faithful and community members to pay his last respect to the late Pa. Romanus Neweihe Nwankwojike at Umuorji Ihe, Awgu Local Government Area, Enugu State. The Senator, who was ably represented by his Senior Special Assistant [SSA] on Constituency Matters, Awgu LGA, Hon. Emeka Joe Udeh, accompanied by Hon. Onyedika Chukwu, Hon. Eucharia Okolie, Hon. Emma Chukwu, and Hon. Cajethan Okoye. Delivering the Senator’s condolence message, Hon. Emeka Joe Udeh sympathized with Engr. Prof. B. N. Nwankwojike, the bereaved family and the entire kindred, urging them to take solace in God’s will. He noted that though death is inevitable, Pa. Romanus lived a remarkable life of peace, integrity and service, leaving behind legacies worthy of emulation.
Responding on behalf of the family, Engr. Prof. B. N. Nwankwojike extended heartfelt appreciation to Senator Ngwu for honoring the family’s invitation despite his demanding national responsibilities. He described the Senator as a true representative of the people and a beacon of compassion whose leadership continues to resonate across Enugu West. Prof. Nwankwojike prayed for God’s protection, guidance and abundant blessings upon Senator Ngwu as he continues to champion the interests of his constituents in the National Assembly. The condolence visit, which brought together community leaders, party members and sympathizers; further underscored Senator Ngwu’s commitment to the values of empathy, community solidarity and service to humanity.
